About Us
Who we are and what we do.
Busy-ness does not mean productivity. We believe in developing Business Mindsets that is, above all things, Resilient, Robust and Regenerative.
The business headlines will confirm that we are living in tough economic times, plagued with uncertainty and disillusionment. When small businesses and entrepreneurs were sidelined and controlled, big corporates enjoyed the monopoly of supply and demand which translated into profits for established businesses. But the tide has turned – It’s a new day. This is the day for small and medium business and entrepreneurs. SMME’s are the economic drivers in most countries, especially in Africa and Asia.
Our specific focus is on Employment, Education and Training. Business Resilience is designed to make you employable, provide academic coaching that leads to an Internationally Recognised Certificate that actually means something and train you on how to think and react to the market.
Entrepreneurship is touted as the next big thing to solve the global and national crises of youth unemployment and social inequalities. However, we’ve asked the hard questions to find reasons for the increasing failure of start-ups, established businesses and the self-employed. Why is the success-rate so low and why do individuals with coveted skills, passion and energy fail in business?
We’ve asked the hard questions – searched for answers, interviewed established businesses and corporates. We also engaged successful and not-so-successful entrepreneurs. Yes, we read the books, evaluated academic research, walked on the streets, kept our ears to the ground and with a diligent hand drew a thread that trumps all other reasons. At the end of four years of research and exhausting engagements with people on the ground – a group of robust thinkers and social entrepreneurs decided that the time is ripe for solutions, empowerment, education and development of Entrepreneurial Skills in a proactive, resourceful way.
Instead of stating the obvious that we need more entrepreneurs and also need to educate more entrepreneurs, we decided to take a proactive step and consolidate our efforts in producing High-level Recognised and Credible Courses that meet the rigours of academia and at the same time accessible to thousands who don’t have the privilege of devoting exclusive time to attend classes in a University, because of many reasons (age, family commitments, work commitments, don’t meet entrance requirements, no time, or don’t have the money to pay the exorbitant fees, etc). Entrepreneurs don’t need an education for graduation – they need Learning that can lead to Earning!
We believe that it is unethical to encourage entrepreneurship without equipping people with the relevant entrepreneurial skills that can be verified – that is just a set-up for failure. Our goal is to see you succeed. Your success is our success. We believe that Business Resilience is a rare characteristic that is the common thread in all successful enterprises. We help you develop business resilience to bend with the tides of change – but do not break! Our desire is to teach you the skills that every business/entrepreneur must possess to prevent failure and if you do fall that you bounce-back quickly – that is resilience: the ability to bounce back!
It doesn’t matter what you know if you don’t know what matters!
